Engineering Manager

Reports to - Head of Operations
Direct Reports - E&I Engineers, Systems Engineers and CAD Designers

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to meet or exceed Project Engineering Schedules.
• Responsible to prepare P&IDs and optimize deliverables with innovative Engineering practices.
• Supports the development of project discipline engineering strategy and develops project engineering standards and processes.
• Conduct Design Reviews to ensure compliance with Project Requirements
• As a senior member in the engineering team, leads, coaches and mentors team members to ensure delivery against performance targets.
• Has a working knowledge of Industry Standards
• Work with designers/drafters on detailed design.
• Work closely with Sales Team and propose differentiated solutions during bidding stage.
• Must be well versed in the practical application of Instrumentation Industry codes, certification requirements
• Assists Project Managers with various facets of Project.
• Configuring and programming automation and controls systems involving HMI or SCADA systems.
• Actively identifies and drives implementation of improvement initiatives to increase capital efficiency, productivity and safety
• Develops relationships with Engineering consultants which is based on a professional level of technical challenge to drive lean and fit for purpose design without jeopardizing project progress.
