Job brief
We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with strong expertise in popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites that are both functional and visually appealing. This role requires a passion for web development, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of WordPress and modern design trends.

Key Responsibilities
1. Website Development and Maintenance:
o Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using page builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar tools.
o Create responsive and SEO-friendly designs that ensure optimal performance across all devices.

2. Page Builder Expertise:
o Leverage page builder tools to create visually stunning and user-friendly layouts without compromising on speed or functionality.
o Customize page builder templates and integrate third-party plugins as needed.

3. Custom Development:
o Write custom CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to extend page builder capabilities and meet specific client requirements.
o Modify themes and plugins to match project specifications.

4. Collaboration and Client Interaction:
o Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
o Provide recommendations on best practices and solutions to achieve desired functionality.

5. Troubleshooting and Optimization:
o Debug and resolve issues related to performance, compatibility, and functionality.
o Optimize websites for speed, security, and search engine rankings.

6. Plugin and Theme Management:
o Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and themes to enhance site functionality.
o Ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
o Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
o Hands-on experience with page builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar tools.
o Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

Design Skills:
o Knowledge of responsive design principles and modern UI/UX trends.
o Experience working with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.

Other Requirements:
o Familiarity with WordPress APIs, hooks, and filters.
o Understanding of SEO principles and tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
o Experience with website performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights).

Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
Experience with custom post types and advanced custom fields (ACF) is plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Basic knowledge of website hosting and domain management.
