Location-Ongole-Andhra Pradesh Role As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for realizing sales targets in your Area/Territory. To realize these targets you will define and validate with your manager the goals/targets for near as well as long term for products and services in your domain. You will be responsible for prospection of key customers and distributors, sales and support, generation and conversion of leads and follow up/support to distributor/agents, post-sale services commercial or technical, assisting technical team with customer meets, field trials and analyses, gathering and maintaining information on markets/competition products and activities. The job requires extensive travel and field work to ensure business conversion and customer retention. Your Responsibilities Sales and Business development
Responsible for the P&L of the territory allocated. Define sale volumes and targets of products in the in line with overall business projections and targets.
Appointment of distributor/sub distributors/agents in the territory, generate leads and follow up on the customers, convert sales, post-sale support and ensure sales target are met.
Prepare and participate in weekly, monthly sales meeting to discuss sales targets and achievement.
Plan regular customer visit, propose products and services, follow up on orders and payments, connect the customer with the technical for queries and issues around products and services.
Arrange and facilitate new customer creation/credit limits/distributor agreement with all required documents, get necessary approvals for creation of code and start for business.
Responsible for generating orders and coordinating with sales coordinator, execution, operations, reporting manager/business heads for necessary approvals to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with the sales coordinator/execution on arranging for order dispatches and update customers on order status.
Follow up on timely payments and collection, to provide timely account statements to both customer and company and clear all pending dues in a timely fashion to avoid any disruption in business.
Develop and maintain information on competing products and trends in the region to be used for internal analysis.
To communicate/report queries/issues being faced by customers to the concerned technical manager and provide timely resolution.
Working with the technical manager to facilitate product trials, analysis, collation of information crucial for success of the trials.
Assist marketing team in organizing of product launches, participation in exhibitions and trade fairs and all other activities related to marketing and branding of the product and services in their respective regions.
Use tools used developed by the technical as well as marketing to push to support and develop business
Organize farmers/customer meets and all activities to build the visibility of Wisium and its brands.
Collaborate with other ADM business Units to develop customer leads and convert business, driving synergies.
Identify opportunities that are key to the business and growth and take them up with he respective reporting manager.
Attend conference/seminars to network with customers and maintain business relations wherever required.
Your Profile With a Bachelor Degree qualification Fisheries Science/Aquaculture or Related Subjects with strong sales experience in the Shrimp Feed/Probiotics/Aqua Products with at least 5+ years of experience in the industry, ideally in B2C, where you have been able to develop a business focus.
