1)Ensure statutory compliance in respect of Central Excise and Service Tax.
2)Maximise benefits available under the Law and minimize tax exposure.
3)Attend to legal issues at Commissionerate and Tribunal level with active co-ordination with consultants wherever required.
4)Provide assistance to other locations in respect of indirect tax matters.
5)Update internal customers such as warehouse, purchase, Sales, Exports regarding indirect tax matters relevant to them.

Job Context:
Compliance with the provisions of Excise and Service Tax Act Rules.
Procurement of duty free raw material for use in the manufacture of export goods to avoid unnecessary payment of duty at RM stage.

Job Challenges:
Obtaining various permissions from the Excise Officials for minimising tax impact and financial exposure.
