Node.js Developer - Express.js/Next.js (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Design architecture and implement efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications in NodeJs.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end and third-party integrations.

- Work with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL to manage data effectively.

- Optimize code, database queries, and APIs for performance optimisation and scalability.

- Design and implement caching strategies using tools like Redis or Memcached to improve application performance and reduce the latency.

- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high-quality code.

- Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and other team members to deliver seamless functionality.

- Maintain clear documentation of code, API specifications, and system processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js development

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and its core libraries.

- Knowledge of TypeScript.

- Experience with Express.js, Next.js or similar frameworks.

- Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience in building RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.

- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Expertise in implementing caching solutions using tools like Redis or Memcached.

- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Good to have :

- Experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

- Understanding of security best practices (e.g., OWASP, JWT).
