Job Description
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to design specifications.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
- Participate in agile/scrum meetings, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions.
- Provide accurate and timely testing status updates and reports to management and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, including process optimization and tool evaluation.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a QA Manual Tester or similar role in manual testing of web-based and desktop applications.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
