Academic Coordinator

Role Overview

The Academic Coordinator will act as a liaison between schools, the administration team, and the registrar's/ VC office to ensure smooth coordination of academic activities, events, and related operations. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination of Academic Activities

• Collaborate with school principals, faculty, and staff to plan and execute academic activities and programs.
• Ensure timely communication and dissemination of academic schedules, timelines, and deadlines.

1. Event Management

• Organize and coordinate academic events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences in partnership with relevant departments.
• Oversee logistics for events, including venue booking, resource allocation, and participant coordination.

1. Administrative Support

• Work closely with the registrar's office to ensure accurate records of academic activities and compliance with institutional policies.
• Assist in managing attendance, exam schedules, and other administrative requirements.

1. Communication

• Serve as the point of contact between schools, the administration, and the registrar for academic-related concerns.
• Ensure seamless flow of information and address queries promptly.

1. Quality Assurance

• Monitor the execution of academic activities to ensure adherence to established standards and timelines.
• Identify and address gaps in academic processes to improve efficiency.

1. Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on academic coordination activities, including status updates and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s degree in education, administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in academic coordination, school administration, or a similar role (2-5 years preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Problem-solving and time management skills.
