Job Title: QA Tester (Automation)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Tester with strong expertise in automated testing tools and techniques to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software quality assurance and experience with a variety of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to identify testing needs and define testing strategies.

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress.

Perform automated API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAPUI.

Write and maintain CI/CD pipeline scripts to integrate automated tests into the build and release process (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to ensure issues are resolved.

Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, automation coverage, and tools.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

Ability to write clear and concise test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

ISTQB certification or similar qualifications in software testing.
