Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Supply Chain function for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG, with specific expertise in the Foods industry, and will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless integration of planning, procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution. This role is pivotal to driving efficiency, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive innovation and leverage technology to optimize supply chain processes.
2. End-to-End Operations Management:
- Oversee demand planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Ensure on-time delivery and high service levels while minimizing costs.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
5. Cost Optimization and Efficiency:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
- Implement best practices and lean methodologies to drive operational excellence.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
7. Technology and Analytics:
- Utilize advanced analytics and tools for supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain.
8. Sustainability:
- Align supply chain operations with sustainability goals, focusing on reducing environmental impact.
Key Requirements:
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent post graduate qualification is preferred.
2. Experience:
- 15-20 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in the FMCG sector, specifically in Foods.
3. Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
4. Industry Expertise:
- Extensive experience in the Foods segment, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of the industry.
5. Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
