Job Description
- Recording: Operate audio recording equipment to capture sound, whether in a studio, live event, or on-location setting
- Sound Mixing: Mix and balance audio tracks and sound elements to achieve the desired sound quality, including adjusting levels, equalization, and effects
- Editing: Edit and manipulate recorded audio to remove unwanted noise, improve the timing, and ensure a clean and polished final product
- Post-Production: Work on post-production audio tasks, such as dubbing, Foley, ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement), and sound design for film and television
- Live Sound Engineering: Set up, operate, and optimize sound systems for live events, concerts, conferences, and other performances
- Studio Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment, including microphones, mixing consoles, amplifiers, and studio hardware
- Music Production: Work on music production, recording artists and bands, and shaping the sound and feel of musical recordings
