Job Description: Medical Coder - Same Day Surgery/General Surgery/Ambulatory Surgery Specialist

Experience Required: 2 to 8 years

Certification: CPC or any coding certification from AAPC/AHIMA (mandatory)

Location: Chennai (Temporary Work From Home-Max 3 Months) or Trivandrum (Work From Office)

Salary Range: ₹20,000 to ₹65,000 per month (take-home, based on experience and qualifications)

Shift Timings : 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Working Days : 5 Days (Sat and Sun Fixed Off)

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for same day surgery, general surgery or ambulatory surgery procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

• CPC or any coding certification from AAPC/AHIMA (*Mandatory)
• 2-8 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in same day surgery, general surgery or ambulatory surgery
• Under Graduate or above can apply with the above mentioned certifications and experience.
• Familiarity with 1 to 6 series coding
