I. Financial Reporting and Accounting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) in accordance with accounting standards.
Manage the accounting function:
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
Ensure compliance:
- Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
Manage the financial close process:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
II. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and manage budgets:
- Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets, capital expenditure budgets, and other financial plans.
Conduct financial analysis:
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
Develop forecasts:
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning.
Manage financial risks:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability.
III. Internal Controls and Compliance:
Establish and maintain internal controls:
- Design and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Monitor compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations.
Conduct audits:
Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
Work with external auditors:
- Provide information and support to external auditors during audits.
IV. Other Responsibilities:
Manage cash flow:
- Optimize cash flow management to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
Manage financial data:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Support management:
- Provide financial expertise and support to management in making strategic decisions.
Supervise and mentor staff:
- Manage and mentor accounting and finance staff, ensuring their development and performance.
