R Shiny Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced R Shiny Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications using Shiny. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in R programming, data visualization, and backend integration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shiny applications for data visualization and analytics.
• Optimize application performance and user experience.
• Integrate Shiny apps with databases, APIs, and external services.
• Deploy and manage applications on Shiny Server, RStudio Connect, or cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create dynamic dashboards.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and best coding practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in R programming and Shiny framework.
• Experience with Tidyverse (dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, etc.).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI enhancements.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of functional programming with purrr.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for R applications.
