Job Overview:

Gurupunvaani is seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to manage the entire spectrum of HR operations for a team of 60-70 employees. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role where you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a smooth and efficient HR process. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude and a keen understanding of employee engagement, payroll, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Management:

- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee queries, and offboarding processes.

Onboarding & Induction:

- Plan and execute effective onboarding programs to ensure a positive start for new hires.

- Manage smooth induction processes to integrate employees into the company culture.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

- Drive employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and foster a positive workplace environment.

- Develop strategies for improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

- Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

- Manage employee benefits, including insurance policies, leaves, and compensation.

Employee Queries & Issue Resolution:

- Act as the point of contact for employee queries, addressing concerns related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits.

- Resolve employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.

HR Policies & Compliance:

- Develop, implement, and update HR policies in accordance with company needs and legal compliance.

- Ensure the organization adheres to labor laws and maintains compliance with local regulations.

Performance Management & Appraisals:

- Assist in driving the performance management process, supporting managers with goal setting and appraisal discussions.

- Implement performance improvement plans as needed.

- Offboarding & Exit Management:

- Handle all exit formalities, including exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation and a seamless transition.

- Provide insights on employee turnover and implement retention strategies.

- HR Reporting & Data Management:

- Maintain accurate HR records and generate necessary reports for management.

- Use HR tools and software to monitor workforce data, attendance, and payroll metrics.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

- 4-6 years of experience in managing HR operations, ideally as an individual contributor.

- Proven experience in managing the HR function for a similar-sized team (60-70 employees).

- Hands-on experience in payroll, employee engagement, and compliance management.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple HR functions and prioritize tasks.

- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
