Key Responsibilities:
Design Creation:
Develop and create detailed embroidery designs using CAD software based on design briefs and concepts.
Convert hand-drawn sketches or digital artwork into embroidery-ready files.
Ensure designs are optimized for different types of fabrics and embroidery machines.
Experiment with various stitches, textures, and techniques to achieve desired effects.
Technical Execution:
Prepare embroidery files with appropriate settings, including stitch types, thread colors, and sequencing.
Conduct sample runs to test the accuracy and quality of designs, making necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot any issues during the embroidery process.
Maintain and update a digital library of embroidery designs and patterns.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and production teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Provide input on fabric choices, thread selections, and embroidery techniques to achieve the best results.
Communicate design changes and updates effectively to all stakeholders.
Participate in design meetings and contribute creative ideas for new collections.
Quality Control:
Ensure all designs adhere to company standards and client specifications.
Review and approve final embroidery samples before mass production.
Continuously evaluate the quality of finished products, suggesting improvements where needed.
Innovation and Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on the latest trends in embroidery, fashion, and textile design.
Explore and implement new embroidery techniques, software updates, and materials.
Participate in industry events, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
