In this role, you will lead manage, and mentor a team of Backend developers.

- Lead the technical development of backend services using Node.js, Python, and Typescript.

- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and serverless microservices using AWS services like Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.

- Oversee the optimization of backend systems for scalability, performance, and security.

- Manage a team of backend engineers, providing technical mentorship and career guidance.

- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Take ownership of project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.

- Develop and maintain documentation of system architecture and technical decisions.

- Facilitate the professional growth of team members by identifying learning opportunities,

setting performance goals, and providing feedback.

- Ensure alignment of team efforts with organizational goals and customer requirements.

- Set and monitor KPIs for team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance targets.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure timely and effective delivery of features.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and professional development.

- Coordinate and report progress to senior management and product teams, proactively addressing any blockers or risks.

BASIC QUALIFICATION :

Education Background : BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field.

- Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, and Typescript.

- Deep understanding of backend frameworks like Express.js, Django, Flask, and FastAPI.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Aurora.

- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.

- Proven experience in leading teams or mentoring junior engineers.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with a focus on project management.

- Ability to balance technical leadership with team management and performance tracking.

- Proven experience leading teams, setting KPIs, and managing the successful delivery of products.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to manage sprints effectively.

- Expertise in implementing secure coding practices, data encryption, and system hardening techniques to safeguard applications.

- AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner and AWS Certified Developer Associate.
