In this role, you will lead manage, and mentor a team of SDETs. You'll leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to :

- Lead a team of SDETs, driving the automation testing strategy and ensuring high-quality software releases.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance while managing team performance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

- Oversee the development and execution of test automation frameworks, ensuring they align with both technical and business goals.

- Coach and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development, and guiding them through technical challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Provide hands-on guidance in designing and developing automated testing frameworks.

- Lead a team of SDETs, ensuring their growth, performance, and development.

- Oversee testing efforts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

- Define and implement test automation strategies and ensure they are aligned with the overall development goals.

- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

- Mentor junior team members and encourage best practices in test automation and software testing.

- Continuously improve test processes, identifying areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

- Regularly communicate test strategies, project updates, and results to stakeholders.

- Ensure test environments are stable and meet the requirements for automated and manual testing.

- Monitor team performance and project outcomes, addressing challenges and ensuring quality goals are met.

REPORTING LINE :

You will be reporting to Manager II, Engineering Management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven leadership experience in a technical or management capacity.

- Strong experience in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

- Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and mentor junior engineers.

- Experience managing multiple testing projects simultaneously.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Familiarity with tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Strong verbal and written communication to effectively engage stakeholders.

- Analytical skills to address complex testing and automation challenges.

PREFERRED SKILLSET :

- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.

- Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and other automation frameworks.

- Experience in web and mobile application test automation.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Capability to seamlessly integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.

- Deep understanding of testing strategies for modern application architectures, including microservices and serverless designs.

- Experience in leading and managing a team of SDETs, including performance monitoring and fostering professional growth.

- Strong ability to mentor junior engineers in best practices.

- Proficiency in managing multiple testing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

- Ability to identify areas for efficiency improvement and implement innovative testing solutions.
