Job Description :

Role : Technical Architect- Java

Experience : 15 - 20 years

Brief :

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with 1416 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring architectural designs align with functional and non-functional requirements, including scalability, security, and maintainability.

We specialize in Digital Transformations like Digital BSS Suite and CVM & Big Data Analytics, 5G, IoT, AI / ML, and Digital Financial Services, and are in the process of cloudification of our products. Our products and processes are TMForum compliant. Some of our major customers are Safaricom, Ooredoo Group, Vodafone Group, Milicom, and Singtel to name a few.

Your Responsibilities :

Architectural Design and Review :

- Application Technical Design & Development from scratch, not only enhancement support work or development without design experience.

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure architecture for large-scale enterprise applications.

- Evaluate and recommend technology frameworks, platforms, and tools for optimal performance.

- Ensure architectural solutions align with business and technical requirements, including functional and non-functional aspects.

Performance Optimization :

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application layers.

- Conduct root cause analysis for critical production issues and provide effective resolutions.

- Lead the optimization of database, codebase, and infrastructure for enhanced performance.

Technical Leadership :

- Review and refine existing architecture to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

- Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams.

- Oversee end-to-end implementation of architectural solutions, ensuring quality delivery.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various system components.

- Present architectural solutions to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Governance and Compliance :

- Establish and enforce architectural governance to maintain consistency and quality.

- Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and industry standards

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, load balancing, and caching strategies.

- Proficiency in modern programming languages especially in JAVA and frameworks.

- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.

- Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to lead and motivate technical teams.
