Azure Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (9-12 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to manage and optimize our Azure cloud infrastructure.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing security fixes, and ensuring seamless Azure service operations.

You will serve as a key technical advisor and contribute to critical projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage Azure resources, including networking, security, storage, and compute.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across various Azure services.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, plan, and implement security patches and configurations.

- Ensure all fixes adhere to compliance and security standards.

- Act as a technical advisor to the project lead, providing expertise on Azure services and assessing change impacts.

- Provide technical insights to inform strategic decisions.

- Translate technical requirements for the 2nd shift team to ensure effective hand-off of tasks.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including application owners, to manage change control and downtime.

- Assist in managing and executing change control processes.

- Coordinate planned downtimes with application owners to minimize operational disruptions.

- Document security fixes, configurations, and project progress to maintain transparency and accountability.

- Attend and contribute to technical meetings to support project execution and free up the project lead for other priorities.

Qualifications :

- 9+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud configuration, administration, and management.

Technical Expertise :

- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including :

1. Networking Azure Virtual Network, ExpressRoute

2. Security Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center

3. Storage Azure Blob, Azure Files

4. Compute Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service

- Proficient in Azure troubleshooting, diagnostics, and research to deliver effective solutions.

- Strong understanding of change control and downtime management processes.

- Familiarity with compliance standards and best practices for cloud security.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong team coordination and collaboration abilities.

- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Azure certifications (e.g, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

- Experience with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure
