Job Summary:
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated region by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the automotive and manufacturing industries, excellent customer relationship management skills, and the ability to exceed sales targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with overall company sales objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and end-users.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and market conditions to management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of proven sales experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of the automotive and manufacturing value chain.
- Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets consistently.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific products/services relevant to the company, industrial automation, robotics, automotive components.
- Knowledge of specific industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in managing a sales team.
