Accountant - Taxation & Compliance (CA/CS Preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled accountant with expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in GST, TDS, ITR filings, ROC compliance, and audit management while ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to statutory requirements.

This role requires expertise in accounting principles, cost management, and financial analysis, as well as proficiency in Tally ERP and Advanced Excel. The candidate will be responsible for preparing MIS reports, perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and ensure the month-end financial closing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.
• Ensure GST, TDS, ITR filings, and ROC compliance with timely submissions.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger management, and cash flow analysis.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and trial balance reviews.
• Oversee accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Generate MIS reports and financial dashboards for management insights.
• Support internal & external audits, ensuring statutory and tax compliance.
• Identify process improvements and risk mitigation strategies in financial operations.

Required Candidate Profile

• Strong number crunching & quantitative skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, audits, and financial reporting tasks efficiently.
• Expertise in GST, TDS, ITR filings, and ROC compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally and Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc).

Experience

• 3 4 years’ experience in a similar role (hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial compliance)

Education

• Graduate (10+2+2/3)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS) – Preferred
• CA Inter / CS Inter with strong accounting & taxation experience – Considered
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) with relevant expertise – Acceptable
• (Additional certifications in Finance, Cost Accounting, or Business Law will be a plus.)

Salary

• 4-9 Lacs P.A.

Working Hours

• 11.00 am to 8.00 pm Mon-Fri
• 11.00 am to 3.30 pm Sat
