Salary Negotiation
I have cleared the first round of Capgemini multiple times (3 out of 4) for the position of senior software engineer(7.5 years experience),my current package is 28 LPA(Fixed), I got 3 calls from Capgemini HRs saying, one HR said She would only offer 25 LPA, another said 26.5 and one more said 28 LPA all of these with a 10% variable included in what they offered.
My profile is strong with technical skills of Java, Springboot, Microservices, etc.However I switched 4-5 companies in my tenure, which is acting as a big minus for me during negotiation.
Any tips on negotiations? I don't have any other offers.
Only after 1st round & salary approval, they'll schedule a final round, I'm hopeful of clearing atleast 1 or 2 in the 3 opportunities, Capgemini is a company I want to join because of work life balance. Kindly suggest how to negotiate salary.
