The salary aspect and work life balance is very good in the organisation as this is PSU. There is no complaint of salary and timely payment also.

Dislikes

The project locations are at interior locations. There should be some arrangement made for conveyance. As presently only bus is the public mode of transport not even auto/cab available. There could be mall and cinemas near by.

work culture, timing, annoying people around you, mostly are buttering the management for good appraisal and transfer, no transfer policy, for finance people it is hell... so much politics... there are 25% employee who are working and 75% employee buttering, convert the department in orchestra band, singing dancing, there is so much regionalism... after sometime you will become mad.... poor treatment by management and seniors... all are selected through campus selection or walk in interview... those candidates who are selected through written they all left the organization.... so much interruption but UNION.. no reputation of officers.. workmen company not officer company...

...wards the employee Its medical facility to the employees is very much admirable. Salary benefits are good. Money benefits to the family after employee death during service period is very good.

Dislikes

This is purely wormen and union oriented company. To do any work through workmen is very difficult for an officer. Work culture is not so good.

The company is one of the Navratna firms of Govt.of India and one of the pioneering mining companies which is prospering every year. It looks after all welfare measures of employee and family with self sufficient townships with all facilities available. It encourages team work and good selfless work culture with multi cultural people as one family either in work or after work. Lot of encouragement to innovative technical solutions, continuous training at various levels and also gives good exposure to latest technical features of equipment in mining related fields to its executives in advanced countries where such eqpt are operating. Anyone should be lucky to be part of such organisation.

Dislikes

Compensation is excellent but growth in certain fields are limited. Mining personnel dominate generally being a mining company but sometimes technical personnel( mechanical, electrical) get less promotions compared to other departments such as personnel, Industrial engg, Computer/MIS etc is intriguing.One has to put up with life faraway from cities and limit to colony/Township life.

Not govern by independent. Here no one has clarity about who will do the work. The work is dragged on till the last moment and sometimes it is put on someone NSL, sometimes on Mecon sometimes a third party comes, so until a single party takes it in its hands to govern it, this plant cannot show its profit.All the old people do not want to learn anything new. They want everyone to learn the old way of doing it and think that whatever they do is the best.
