Salary: Salary I joined CRISIL at Scale 11A at a Fixed Salary of 15LPA + Variable of 18% on the other hand they hand they had hired at a junior Scale of 10A MBA freshers for a Fixed Salary of 16.5LPA + Variable of 18% in April 2023. I put on the table relevant work ex of 4 years. I felt cheated. It's also because employees as a fraternity don't share(anonymously) their CTC clearly so when switching you don't get the exact picture. You have to rely on limited data available on Glassdoor etc...

The learning is immense and profile is good. Processes are strong.

Here is too much disparity in pay scale and grades. The senior management is highly biased and there is too much favortism. They dont treat employees equally

Very poor pay for Freshers like me who have done MBA finance.seniors don't interact and live in their own bubble. Could be more proactive and transparent about a particular professional decicion ( like rating commercial paper.)

CRISIL, being my first company associated, i found the team leads and seniors very supportive and the fact that i am part of a team that makets reliable for the Mse and Sme was a good exposure. Further the exposure to varoius profiles and industry was a great time to bask and grow as a fresher.

Dislikes

The compensation and the credit for the work quality is something which is missing from the ingredient of a great work place. Its all about the execution at the end and not the quality and variety. Further the management needs to really work on adhesive policies to acheive the vision and mission, there has been instances they have been caught napping and ungaurded,which makes things worse for the team and creates a sense of restlessness amongst the employee. Further the management lacks on crisp and clear communication flow from management to the employees leading to too much of confusion and job security issues.

Likes

CRISIL provides a very good learning opportunity to learn and grow continuously. Teammates are generally from IVY league of India.

Dislikes

Work life balance is terrible. There is also a great mismatch wrt to salary and the amount of work. Innovation is also very slow.
