They have a informal period of layoffs that take place every 4-5 years or so. Hence, employees will randomly be laid off.

Salary is outdated, its like they did not review their salary structure since the company was founded Tech is outdated, legacy tech is used everywhere No innovation because of lack of enthusiasm in the employees, its like they want money with the least amount of effort Lot of process and bad management, they will start a project and scrap it mid implementation (this happens a lot and is annoying) B2B company, so don’t expect to work on projects with a huge scale.. hence no learning after sometime

Akamai is good in terms of work culture. They have good employee benefits and a quite smart people working for them . Your work will highly depend on the team you are going to but the company is a good place to be. They have a very well training plan for the new joiners.

Salary is decent but there are quite a few companies that will pay you more.
