These jokers conducted 3 rounds of interview to me & told I got a very strong feedback. Then suddenly they ghosted me. Totally unprofessional. Seems like I dodged a bullet.

Some employees do a lot of politics in here to get a good name or to get away from a bad situation. Manager could be very partial towards you if he doesn't like you from the beginning. He would never change the opinion about you despite some good work by you.
