It was long ago (40 years) Group Companies were to be visited for compliance of policies.The travel was by train and daily allowance was inadequate however later on it was hiked and facilities for travel was upgraded. The manpower was minimum and coverage was limited to inventory and process loss and wastages.

Long back the travel was for 3 weeks in a month.

Staff is considered on the lower garde when compared to other category of workforce like permanent workmen. 3.Skilled operators in the permanent work force category is very less resulting in regular machine breakdown and wastage of company resources. 4.HR function at plant level is very poor. No welfare activities for staff. Plant HR doesn't have control on the Workmen/ labour and external agency.( If required to say in one word time pass candidates) 5.Unnecessary wastage of resources, management doesn't even bother on operational cost.
