I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)

Few good things about this company are 1. WFH 2. Free lunch if you are working from office. 3. No cameras or biometrics or such things to monitor you. 4. Flexible working hours. 5. Won't negotiate on your ask while joining the company. 6. Yearly trip. 7. Yearly Bonus

1. Too much office politics for such a small firm. 2. You'd be asked to talk about your concerns and then that will be used against you unless you are a nepo kid. 3. Appraisals are joke unless you, your lead/reporting manager and your team are good at boot-licking. 4. Appraisal cycles will move forward and there are no arrears. Sothe appraisal you are supposed so to get in 1 year, you might get it in 1.3-1.5 years. In the end you will end up with 2 lousy appraisals in 3 years. 5. You'll get bonus but not on time. 6. You can't (shouldn't) raise your voice against injustice ....Read More
