hello i have worked in rail vikas nigam limited for 10 years. The most i have liked is work atmosphere friendly nature . and liberal leaves whenever you want please intimate higher official before.

The Site engineers get good respect from their subordinates.

Teammates- Team is basically a mix up of experienced railway persons, supervisors, contractors . So you need to balance yourself with everyone. Training - Depends on location. I did not get any training. Job Security - You will be retained till end of project even though it is mentioned as 1 year in your offer letter. Career Growth- Basically you are on lease ;) so no Growth. Salary - Paid according to the work . Travel - Depends on Site location . But travelling will be too hectic considering the fact that there won't be good transportation facilities in remote areas. Sometimes you need to walk a lot. Politics - It will be there. Learning - Depends on your interest .. Work environment- Get Ready to work in heat not in AC. Innovation - No Work -life Balance - Not always.
