They can only place you. But no assurance for the next project. Also, if your contract doesn't get renewed they do not pay you any salary for the next 2months instead they terminate our association. Very terrible place and also if you apply for your PF too there is no clarity on the status of your withdrawal. They give all invalid email IDs to reach out which ends up bouncing back.
