Job security is good. It is because most of the people anyways want to leave and there is always dearth of resources. Work life balance is good in some of the teams. Indian management is generally good but spineless.

Dislikes

It is a company for Australians, and Chinese also get good support. Indians are most disrespected and disregarded of all. The Australians are generally rude or indifferent. Good work is taken for granted and minor mistakes are highlighted which later is used to give low performance ratings. Australians take all credits of work even though Indian team members would have completed bulk of work. Indian management is good and very supportive, but spineless. Work wise, we only get low end or leftover work and quality of Indian analysts is considered low. Indians are not preferred for onshore jobs. It is purely a cost centre. There is job security and company doesn't layoff. Work life balance is generally good across all teams. Work pressure is normal most of the time.

As far as work is concerned, there is not much to offer in this Indian branch of the company. Strictly speaking, it is not an analytics company in India. 60% to 70% of work is data related BAU type of work. 30% of what seems like analytics is just about assisting the analysts in Australia playing supportive role. We don't get independent projects in India and there is absolutely no client interactions. You don't have freedom to try anything new without the permission of offshore analysts. Even seniors in India have to comply with analysts in Australia. We need to keep the analysts in Australia always happy so the they do not give negative feedback in monthly surveys. There is too much of surveillance of employees in India. Indian employees are not preferred for international posting even though they can apply. Only 1% of them make it....Read More

Company has lot of parties and events, management wants to be relevant with latest technologies., not much comes to india. There is a small cafeteria and has basic foods. No dress code, some boys come in half pant and slippers while the girls wear as far minis.

Company is pretty one man show which is head of india Sareen Gogi, the guy is pretty clever and removes the people who speak against him and he is supported by the HR Nupur Sravan and Dinesh Mahindra , as he is not able to tolerate anything negative, australian management is also same except for the CEO and they are pretty much inhand with Sareen. Nobody cares if you work or not as long as there is no escalation. No matter how hard you contribute and how much you sweat for them , you are only good if you don't sugar coat the management. All the people who were working have left and is only left with people who are either doing nothing or have no caliber to get a job...Read More
