Since it is a European MNC, the general atmosphere and working culture is not too stressful. Depending on the profile and job responsibilities one can have an opportunity to collaborate, interact and work with global staff members which promotes a healthy and multicultural experience. Work timings are comfortable, of course one has to align with their respective managers and fulfil the desired number of working hours during the week. A hybrid set up post Covid, open door policy so if one has to express and speak their mind people would mostly listen. Quite a few staff driven engagement activities like the typical festive celebrations and staff recognitions followed by a few free lunches/dinner parties are organized from time to time. Products are of good quality, the company promotes DIE, runs a business of direct selling wherein mostly women are channel partners across the globe. Having worked for almost a decade, seen and experienced the ups and downs followed by how the organization has been operating. Company is in an outdated business model of Direct Selling (Door to Door, peer to peer network marketing), they haven't adapted with the times at all, especially given 2024 and the digital era. The company has been on a slowdown with negative growth across the world especially since Covid, lot of countries and office have been shut down. The general DNA of the company is working on plans which have no thorough market research or backing of proper data, driven top down and each day is a gamble, frequent change of plans, last minute pressure, always in firefighting situations, halfhearted efforts, no post evaluation, zero accountability, lack of proper planning and action, lack of vision, old school thinking, favoritism and politics across all levels, they operate like a govt. office but are branded as an MNC. People in strong and key positions exploit the most through decision making, authority and monetarily, salaries have no benchmarks, 2 people in the same role can have a difference of almost 50%. Eg. 35 lacs vs 75 lacs (give or take 3-4 years of difference in experience, but exactly the same role). Staff would while away their time with 3hrs of lunch and coffee breaks. Do not operate with deadlines, presentations are prepared just for the sake of filling slides in a deck and hardly ever followed. Corruption at many levels top-down. Senior management are sitting in the office for the past 20+ years, old school thinking. Downsizing every year across, mostly the mid-lower level staff is impacted. Those who can butter, dress up and talk well get promoted, real talent is never recognized. Certain people in key positions work with an intension to exploit the company, corruption is very high in this organization. They talk about culture but never care about employees, the main reason why people stick to this organization is that everything is super laid back, no clear vision right from global or regional CEO's level. They will treat you as if you are good for nothing, they will treat you as if they are doing a favour by offering you the job. Sorry to say this but company in deep losses every year they layoff peoples even they hire new people and layoff them within a year. If you are looking for job security it's absolutely zero. Other negative thing is so much politics in every department. Oriflame is use to be big brand earlier but now it's a sinking ship.
