It's icing on the cake. You would be surprised after reading what I have gone through. Hell, I myself am surprised, shocked and devastated. 1. Never join a start up team acquired by sap. 2. Traces of Racism in few teams. German teams are friendly. 3. Costed my job. Surprisingly a company like sap who believes everyone is a talent and strives for employee improvement even if you are not performing FIRED me. Reason - team leader's dislikes who has monarchy over the entire project and expects you to move mountains on day 1. 4. No kt, no handover. 5. Unstructured way of dealing tasks. No communication between colleagues. No help if you are struck with issues. 6. No support from HR if you ask for support. They are management inclined and helps the management to carefully prepare the proofs to fire you even though there is a chance to salvage the damage. When the day came I was politely asked to leave shattering my dreams and hardwork to get into this company. So overall you can have awesome work life if you are going to the typical SAP teams.
