The conversation around work hours in India is heating up! It started with Infosys founder Narayana Murthy advocating for a 70-hour workweek, followed by L&T Chairman S.N. Subrahmanyan, who went even further, suggesting a 90-hour workweek and wishing employees worked on Sundays too. On the other side, Capgemini CEO Ashwin Yardi proposed a more balanced 47.5-hour workweek, stressing structured workdays and a no-weekend-email policy.
