On time salary payment is the best thing in L&T. There is a lot to learn at project sites in L&T. L&T has a huge market value which always adds-on during a job switch.

Dislikes

Gender bias is a regularly appearing biasism observed in the work place. No fixed working hours at project sites. All saturdays are working at sites. Even on Sundays, if required.

Work Details

Currently posted as a Project Architect and looking after finishing coordination, design/ drawing coordination, preparation of BOQ specification, material inventory, agency finalization and providing operational support to site team on a regular basis.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Flexible Timings)

Not much for Architects, only if you are interested in execution rest all things may work for you.

Job role description at time of joining and actual work awarded are totally different,no work-life balance; no skill development in field of architecture(not even exposure); fake salary structure being shown at time of joining and all things depend upon ratings which are not fare.

Company provides one year of initial training which is good to understand different aspects of the work. They give value to quality of work and overall professional development of the employee.

Dislikes

Work life balance is really terrible. 8am to 8pm sometimes it goes till 10pm is really inhuman. They don't respect the individual branch ( Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture etc) and call everyone construction engineer. There is no work satisfaction at all. A lot of internal politics are there which will hinder you to achieve new heights in your professional life.
