Middle level management is full of psycophants & they are not so mature in handling the situations in a rational way. Most of them are not bankers but good marketing managers & sales executives. Having no vision at all.

Worst organization to work with. No HR impact. Worst work life balance... There are 3 type of segment in kotak mahindra Prime Growth Emerging Prime is good growth is ok emerging is worst. Do not fall in trap and confirm which segment to join. Do not i repeat do not go for emerging

In the right departments, under the right boss, you can have good work life balance. Usually work is recognised without much showmanship and you'll get atleast a basic fair appraisal if not a good one.

Dislikes

Salaries and hikes are seriously low compared to competition. Because of this reason, they have high attrition yet they refuse to revise pay scales. Promotions and high appraisals are very hard to come by; work is not enough to get these, you have to be in the good books of upper management; who are usually not objective when judging work. A lot of favouritism is practiced. Top and middle management layer is very very lazy. All they do is attend meetings, and dispense ideas and work onto juniors, without giving a thought to the practicality of execution. It is left up to the junior working layer 'how' to do something.
