HCL have good project where one can learn a lot and develop their skills so good for Skill development. Job security is also good as HCL gives ample opportunity.

Work Life balance is terrible. No Appraisal. There is quarterly appraisal so based on that they cut your monthly bonus. They have software to Count your productive hours.

It was going well with HCL but the way HCL people behaved with me many times especially during the last days of my time with HCL just to ruin my career is a worst experience which I have faced during my whole tenure. Pathetic experience in terms of working environment, people behavioral concerns etc. No support from anyone whether its your Seniors or HR or any other Team. In terms of policies and appraisals also its worst to work in HCL. I am very surprised to see that what kind of people especially Seniors we have in HCL who are highly responsible to destroy employee's career very effectively. Management doesn’t care about the valuable resources. Management don’t care about ye people skills. Resources are not being utilised as per their skills. Too much favouritism, too old people in the system who are still working on the manual tasks when everything is running on automation and AI. Same kind of data being asked by management so many times which affects the productivity of technical people. Upper management is not aware what their team members are doing they ask technical people to provide your productivity. The work culture and team members are amicable and help you to grow with their experience. Also, HCLTech organizes various extracurricular activities (Sports, Dance, etc) which help employees within the organization come together and make new connections.

Dislikes

There is little concern in the area of employee recognition as per the efforts given by employees. The Performance appraisal and review is too slow which gets delayed by a Quarter during the appraisal cycle.
