Gartner is the one of the best pay masters with uncapped incentives. If you are an overachiever the quantum of money you can get is huge. The office space is very good, you get free meals with other perks. Workwise you get to interact with top notch professionals within and outside Gartner.

Dislikes

Too much office politics. Hazy sales policies, cut throat competition. In the MSE segment, the sales managers will do things to pull you down, and they love gossiping about your personal and professional aspects.

Working at helpdesk, is pathetic one cannot get themselves to learn new skills or enhance themselves. People want you be here at helpdesk just taking call and chats they don't want you to explore, learn, meet with anyone. Overall Gartner was a employee centric firm. But some new leaders have introduced micromanage their team members. Gartner promote switching careers through IJPs. But have heard some leadership have restricted some candidates from their end. Organic promotion is difficult. You may have to look for IJPs for a role change. Work life balance is followed. Work time is best. They arrange training for their employees to improve their skills. I remember they had provided training for simple thing like email writing and communication

They are focused on not only hiring people with skills but also with a good attitude and great behavior. An excellent management to rely on.

Dislikes

Not everyone in the senior management is as great as most of them. They are dedicated to the only product they have hence it could be a challenge for the IT team in the future.
