At Freshworks, all the roles above Director are mostly based out of the US. Your growth is stagnated after a point. People in the US come and leave with an average tenure of 2 years. They will vest their RSU and leave it to a different SaaS-based company. Every leader will come and have his style of operations. If you are stuck witha bad manager, your life is hell. I haven't worked in freshworks but the interview Sucks big time. You put all effort to crack the interview and the interviewer talks over the phone and not concentrating on what you say. Then they reject simply. Useless. High time the interview standard is taken a look. The one who interviewed me was not fit to take an interview.

People in freshworks is the reason most people stay back for other than the salary aspect.

No job security. They recently fired 660 employees- that's 13 per cent of the Total workforce even though the company made an annual profit higher than the previous year. Even though I was not affected, I feel embarassed that the higher management shows a lot of greed and being inconsiderate towards employees who work day and night to provide high values and top service to the clients.

There is no job security . Never expected that FW would laid off 660 employee in an hour without any prior notice though company were making the good profit. At the end your an employee how well you perform they will thrown you out just like tissue paper.

Some bit of old charm still left, a few old timers left are holding things together in India.
It has completely lost its way and definitively moving towards making India a back office. All Indian leaders are fired and leadership hiring is happening in US/Europe. Not so subtle racism is prevalent and Indians are looked down upon - how ironic as it was a company started in India !
