The culture in my team (Business Consulting) is good. It’s a hybrid working model and increment and promotion system is good. Work pressure is usually manageable but highly depends on clients too. Overall a good experience!

Dislikes

In case of difficult clients the work culture gets excessively complex and toxic. Learning curve is very limited. There is monotony of work.

IT support and Learnings (if by chance you get time for that) is great , rest nothing is good.

Almost Nothing to like, no work-life balance, client -client and always client is the priority, multiple clients with multiple projects have been burdened on single person and even if you work your best, they will count on the project where your performance lagged.

Everything is negative here, boot-licking culture. Client is always right even they say that a man have 5 legs, EY upper management will agree on that. No support for their employees.

Very un-structured org. No defined processes. One is made to take up lot of admin work on subjects that they have never done before which deviates from their main KPI. Hence, job satisfaction is zero.

In Tech Consulting the management is not bothered until you keep clients happy. You enjoy a freedom and flexibility to work as per client team. You won't be micromanaged from EY.

Dislikes

Hikes are less, even if your feedback was nice. It's like everyone gets the same hike, irrespective of the individual performances.

I had a great time at EY. I was surrounded by very hard working people who set very high standards and very good example. The Leadership under whom I work was very supportive and helpful.

The demands of work is high and pace of work is quite fast. Even though I enjoyed it. But it may not be for everyone

It is a great place place to upgrade your skills the sniors and managers are highly skilled and experienced.

The work culture and work life balance is very poor you would ready to work weekends in busy period and there is no fix timing for working hours.

Considering there are many small departments, the Team you are working in, the manager and the bad politics can not be monitored and its such a huge organisation you often get confused whom to reach out to. No strong Human resources to solve actual issues
