Observed high amount of politics in some department where your ability to please the manager is measured more than the actual skills. Some departments deviated from the product based culture to sevice based culture.

-No work life balance -You'll receive call at any given time even if you're on leave. -Weekend working should be optional but you'll never get to choose it. -On an average 11 to 12 hours of shift on any normal day is a normal expectation from you. -office politics on top. -VP are work machines with no personal life and they'll expect the same from you. -VPs can call you even at midnight for business urgency as if you are on charging mode & not a human who is sleeping. -You'll be forced to do a certain task on the same working day even if you have to login till mid night 3 or 4 am. -and last that all of the above is considered normal because you're not human in co. No better hike,no promotion despite working for Deutsche Bank for 6 years. Few people even if they are good at work and have a great amount of experience in handling products but their culture and communication are really poor towards their fellow colleagues.

The organisation is goal oriented and the goals are communicated clearly. Most leaders are not micro managers and give a platform for the teams to grow.

Dislikes

The salary hike in India has been terrible over the last 3 years. Even though the company makes unprecedented profits it is not shared with the employees. The bonus payouts are very bad as well at all levels if compared to other international banks.

Excellent work environment with enough opportunity to contribute and progress at work. Very helpful colleagues and a great HR team. These guys are serious about HR policies and really try their best. Upskilling learning opportunities also available in plenty. Very involved senior leadership and Management Board with many interaction programs. There's connectedness here.

Dislikes

Need some level of more transparent communication that is agreeable to senior management to better cascade changes to teams, so that changes are not viewed as sudden and chaotic. Rest all is good.
