The work culture is very toxic when it comes to Deloitte India. The management will hire you for your skillsets and then place you in a role which is totally not related to you and then they won't even help you out or listen to you.

micromanagement, lack of good leadership skills, lot of manual work unexpected in an organisation like Deloitte, no upskilling, poor work culture, very behind in many aspects, everything is done with Jugad, unnecessaary hype created about the organisation and about work people do,

There’s nothing to like here. Security system is bad, everybody is aware of your personal details. Emails and phone numbers. I saw my friend getting harassed for 2 years and this is because of data breach and they have asked her to lodge a complaint in police station . They haven’t acknowledged anything being a mnc. After that he started looping everyone in vulgur mails harassing her cc’ing everyone. Eventhough she gave complaints about specific person. They went and confronted that guy and he obviously wouldn’t accept and recently he has accepted all his mistakes infront of police and pleaded guilty. He was a Bangalore employee....Read More

1.If you get a toxic managers then it will lead to poor work life balance & excess stress. 2.Since there is high attrition, 1 person always have to compensate for 2 people if not more. 3.There is a unsaid expectation to work 10-12 hours to justify effective 8 billable hours.(Billable hours exclude bathroom breaks ,tea /meal/sancks break, personal call/ whatsapp chats,etc) 4.Appraisals are standard ,close to industry % if not lesser. 5.Office politics, but i think this would be any organisation....Read More

The culture is amazing with lots of employee benefits. The leadership is also very inclusive and understanding.

Dislikes

Hikes and promotions are a little less than what should be expected. It's great for an experienced professional but for freshers it's not a good start from the salary side.

Politics, Pathetic Work life Balance, No Job Security, They can put you in plan for job reason. During peak season, you will be working for 7days a week. The culture has become toxic over the time. Everybody knows about the politics and who are involved. VP know what is happening, Cluster Leader is herself involved in this, Managersknow what is happening. Managers are pressurized to keep people on plan despite of good work. They will will take you in your team and keep you there because your work is good and give you bad ratings. I got selected in enabling areas teams, it consists of all internal projects of Deloitte. There is no scope if you work here for QA Engineer. They want only manual work not automation.
