The actual work time is 9 hours production & 1 hour break. It takes 12 hours production to complete everyone except any break. And also we should maintain errors.

I liked the ambience and my colleagues in my healthcare domain we used to call by names and not by Sir or Madam Cognizant given me when it comes to personal growth

Many things I dislike about Cognizant that is their washrooms were not clean and planetary area. Everywhere there are cockroaches. The management here is good, but favourite ism and in equality among employees was done based on the religion criteria and not everyone was treated fairly not speaking in regional language Taking cooked up meetings when there is any sick leave taken with document’s but not approved by Manager, then it would be considered as LOP. I still remember an escalation was done by me by a behaviour of my SME. But when I mentioned the same to a manager, he stated he will surely look into this and the next moment, I saw him laughing with my Sm. Cognizant has its strengths, but I feel there's room for improvement in several areas beyond just salary. For me, the overall experience hasn’t aligned with my expectations.

In my personal experience, I have faced challenges with the lack of qualified managers and team leads. For instance, in our team, we work from different locations, and our team lead rarely conducted regular team huddles. Even when I, as a senior, tried to take responsibility and initiate meetings, he would often find reasons to stopor postpone them. Over the course of the year, he connected with the team only four or five times, which was far from adequate for effective team collaboration. Additionally, my manager has been disconnected from the team for over a year. When he first joined during a critical transformation period, he did not take the time to observe the team members' expertise, interests, or long-term goals. This lack of involvement left us feeling unsupported and undervalued. One major concern was the cultural bias I experienced. Being from Chennai and a Tamil speaker, I noticed a clear difference in how I and others like me were treated compared to team members from Hyderabad, particularly Telugu-speaking colleagues. if you in bench, HR will torture you to put resignation within one month. also you have no option to choose project and select anything worst comes to you. no proper shift allowances will provided. they have zero 0% for mental health 100% for work.

Its completely dependent on the Manager you are reporting to, but ideally the evironment is not great. The senior managment doesn't know how to lead by example. They are trying to enfore work, they are in frenzy
