This happened to my friend.. It was not the worst thing but most inhumane words any person can tell..
One of my friend say Riya got conceived and she had to travel around 30kms to reach office. Since it was her initial days of pregnancy, her doctor had asked her to rest and avoid travelling.
So Riya went to her manager and asked to provide her Work From home option. Since she is in to mobile app testing working from home doesn't have any problem and upon that she was working for this company from last 3years under same manager.
Anyone even if they are stranger would have congratulated her but no this person said, “ What, how can I give u Work From Home? I am planning to add you in to another project. What shall I do now, if u can't come to office?”. It sounded like you should have asked me before conceiving.

Bosses can be a real mixed bag, sometimes more villain than hero like taking credit for your wins, blaming you for their losses🙃
