Is it better to leave a role early on or stay at least a year even if you know you're still going to leave?
I was promised work-life balance, WFH flexibility, and a clear role but got shifting org structures, added tasks, and OT rules I wasn’t told about. It’s the second time this has happened.
Should I leave early knowing this isn’t for me or stick it out for a year to avoid a short stint?

“Is it better” for what? Your resume? Your career? Your reputation with the company? It depends on what your priorities are.

Better to leave after three months than 12. Just be honest. This hasn’t turned out to be the same job I was promised or hired for. If it comes up when being interviewed for other jobs, again be honest. Or just don’t mention this role at all. Three months is easily hidden,

Thanks Guys, I'd leave as soon as I could find a better role. Life is too short to waste time on rubbish jobs if we've got other options.
If I get asked why the short stint at an interview, easy to say stuff like personal circumstances mean I need to change directions with my career or something like that. And going forward, I leave it off the resume.

At 3 months in, you are still considered a new employee. Still proving yourself. Once the company is comfortable with you the WFH will be available. It may start as just one WFH day. Stick with it. Build relationships with your supervisor and coworkers.
