Is Boss Pleasing: The Key to Corporate Success?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, how much does your relationship with your boss really matter in corporate settings, especially for non-tech roles?
It seems like a lot of people say that your success is almost entirely dependent on how well you get along with your boss. If you're in their good books, everything's great. But if you're not, it can be really tough to get ahead.
Has anyone else noticed this? And if so, how do you deal with a boss you don't get along with?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts

Tech or non-tech. That's the harsh truth. The impression your manager or senior manager has on you depends totally. And to help you more on this, that's the first impression that doesn't change.

Not all bosses are supportive or fair. Some can be manipulative, demanding, or even abusive. In such cases, prioritizing their approval can lead to personal and professional burnout.
