Ignore Your Boss After Work: A New Law for India?

I've been thinking a lot about this new law in Australia that allows employees to ignore work-related calls and messages outside of office hours. It got me wondering if something similar would work in India. Who hasn't felt overwhelmed by constant work emails and calls? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Do you think this kind of law would be beneficial for Indian workers?

This would allow us to have a clear separation between work and personal time, reducing stress and burnout.

Such a law could potentially offer significant benefits to Indian workers.

IMO, its feasibility and effectiveness would depend on various factors, including cultural norms, industry practices, and the specific provisions of the law.

That's an interesting thought! How do you think it would impact productivity and work-life balance in India? Would love to hear more perspectives on this!

Not gonna happen in India. Supply and demand. There is way more supply of employees in India than demand. If someone doesn't answer calls after work, they'll find someone who does.
