IBM OFFER

I have sent my counter offer letter and early release mail from current employer to IBM HR on Monday after talking to him regarding the same and asking to match the offer and giving early joining as 11th February'25 as 10th February is my LWD in current employer earlier it was 90 days dated 6th March'25. Haven't heard anything yet from IBM yet, will they get back or revoke the offer ? YOE : 5.4 Years Current Fixed : 15.63 lpa , IBM Offer : 20 lpa , Counter Offer : 24 lpa Fixed

With a counter like that i’m sure IBM will either match it or at least try to negotiate. Just stay patient for now but dont hesitate to check in if it gets too long.

IBM usually takes time with approvals. How long did it take for them to roll out the initial offer?

24 LPA fixed is ambitious, but worth trying! What was IBM’s reaction when you initially discussed it?

Offer revocation is rare unless budgets are tight. Did they give any verbal confirmation before you sent the mail?
