Feeling trapped in a job that's draining the life out of me šŸ˜©

I'm working 9-10 hour days, sometimes even on weekends, in a field I'm just not passionate about. The stress is taking a toll, and I'm finding myself crying myself to sleep every night šŸ˜. I want to quit, but I don't have any other job offers lined up. Any advice on how to make this transition smoothly? I'm starting to feel like I'm drowning here

Nothing is worth it If it takes a toll on your mental and physical health. I hope you have some savings to run for one or two months until you find a job. Also, did you explore taking a few days of sick live and applying to prepare for interviews?

I would recommend to get your savings up for 6-8 months of runaway before quitting. Meanwhile, try quitting If possible

Hang there buddy! Until you get an offer, markets are rough valuations are down. Focus on getting an offer, take out time to upskill and apply to as many companies as you can. It will hurt a bit, but that's how it is!

I have been there done that .All the best with what you are going through. My suggestions start meeting new people , applying to new places and alternatively pursuing something that you enjoy.

I was unemployed for 4 months before I recently started my current job. And before that I was unemployed for 2 months before I got the job before this one. I left for similar reasons plus more even though I was passionate about the job. It was difficult but the reason I was able to quit without having anything in hand was because I knew that if I even land one interview, I can convert it to a job. Most times my resume was not getting short listed even though I thought I was the most perfect candidate for the job. One of the major reasons being that I don't have any certifications to my name. Eventually a few companies gave me a call and I managed to convert almost all of them. I got a little professional help to get my head sorted too. My advice would be to quit and focus on full time job hunting IF you have confidence in your professional skills and interview skills too. If you need to take the time to invest in upskilling, then that would do you good too.
