Fear of getting fired!

I've been working at my current job for about three years. I got a promotion after the first year, but I've always felt like I'm not good enough and that I might get fired. Last year, I started to feel more confident and had a really great year. My manager even praised me. However, my annual review was a big disappointment. It really knocked me down, and I started making mistakes at work. Now, I'm terrified of losing my job. I haven't been given any indication that I'm in trouble, but my relationship with my manager feels like it's going downhill. He told me not to worry about a recent mistake, but I still can't shake this fear.

dont be demotivated because of appraisal/annual reviews. Manager praise is one level statements but reviews are collaboratives of different levels.

It happens in corporate. They will just verbally praise you and at the end of the year in appraisal they will tell you not to meet expectations. If you are ok with your job, it's fine. Else, start preparing and leave the company. To get time and learn good work doesn't work on repeated or similar tasks
